Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) for a long-term care pharmacy located in the Orlando area. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking to lead operations in a specialized, patient-focused setting.
Position Type:
Direct Hire Schedule & Compensation:
Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations Supervise and support pharmacists, technicians, and ancillary staff Ensure accurate dispensing, verification, and delivery of medications to LTC facilities Serve as the pharmacy’s primary point of contact for audits, inspections, and licensure Implement and maintain operational best practices, quality assurance programs, and performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing Previous experience in long-term care pharmacy (highly preferred) Prior experience as a Pharmacist In Charge or pharmacy manager Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Familiarity with pharmacy automation systems and EMRs (FrameworkLTC experience is a plus) To apply or inquire more about this position, please contact Jared.
