13 Weeks with potential extensions Key Responsibilities Verify and dispense medications in a fast-paced inpatient setting Collaborate with providers and nursing staff to ensure safe, effective therapy Monitor patient medication profiles and intervene as necessary Maintain compliance with institutional protocols and clinical standards Support clinical rounds and provide consultative expertise when needed Ideal Candidate North Carolina-licensed Pharmacist, active and unrestricted At least 2 years of recent inpatient hospital experience Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills Able to adapt quickly in a high-volume, acute care environment Job Requirements Valid NC Pharmacist License (required) Minimum 2 years of inpatient experience within the last 3 years Familiarity with hospital EMR systems and IV preparation protocols Additional Information Nationally recognized facility offering trauma, surgical, oncology, and ICU services Convenient location in vibrant Asheville with access to mountain trails, local culture, and food All shifts are available—flexible scheduling encouraged This role won’t last long.
