9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday shifts every 7th week, 9:00 AM – 2:00
PM Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations under the leadership of the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC). This role involves supervising pharmacy technicians, interns, and support staff while ensuring strict adherence to pharmacy protocols and regulatory compliance. The pharmacist will be responsible for the accurate preparation and dispensing of medications, confirming prescriptions, and providing safe, efficient patient care.
Responsibilities Include:
Overseeing the pharmacy team, including technicians and interns Enforcing compliance with professional standards and internal policies Dispensing medications correctly by verifying prescriber instructions and dosages Managing high prescription volumes with precision and care
Requirements:
Valid New York State Pharmacist license in good standing Experience in Retail, Mail Order, or Specialty Pharmacy settings is essential Comfortable working in a high-volume environment (800+ prescriptions daily) Ability to remain standing for long durations throughout the shift
Work Conditions:
