Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday shifts every seventh week, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM About the
Role:
We are looking for a qualified Staff Pharmacist to join our specialty pharmacy team. Reporting to the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC), you will lead and oversee the pharmacy technicians, interns, and support staff to maintain a high standard of care and operational efficiency. Your primary duties will include dispensing medications accurately and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Duties:
Supervise pharmacy personnel including technicians and interns Maintain adherence to pharmacy protocols and quality assurance standards Dispense prescriptions, verifying dosage and instructions from healthcare providers Manage a high volume of prescriptions efficiently (800+ daily)
Qualifications:
Current, valid New York State Pharmacist license with no disciplinary history Previous experience in Retail, Mail Order, or Specialty Pharmacy required Proven ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy environment Physical capability to stand for extended periods during shifts
Working Conditions:
