9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday shifts every 7th week from 9:00 AM to 2:00
PM Job Summary:
We are actively seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our specialty pharmacy team. This role supports the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) by supervising pharmacy technicians, interns, and support staff to ensure smooth pharmacy operations and compliance with all professional standards. The pharmacist will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications and confirming all prescription details with healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee pharmacy technicians, interns, and support personnel Ensure all pharmacy processes comply with regulatory and company policies Fill and verify prescriptions accurately, confirming proper medication and dosage Handle a high volume of prescriptions, exceeding 800 per day
Requirements:
Active New York State Pharmacist license with a clean professional record Prior experience in Specialty, Retail, or Mail Order Pharmacy is required Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting Must be able to stand for long periods throughout the shift
Work Environment:
