Job Description
We are seeking a licensed and experienced hospital pharmacist to serve as Interim Director of Pharmacy at a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital in the Charleston, South Carolina area. This is a full-time travel role, starting immediately and continuing until a permanent Director of Pharmacy is hired.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) Perform staffing duties as needed Oversee daily pharmacy operations and support existing pharmacy team Handle order entry using HCS Utilize MedDispense automation system Perform sterile compounding (IV) as needed
Pharmacy Team:
1.5 pharmacists (including the Interim DOP) Limited PRN technician support (hospital is actively hiring a full-time technician)
Requirements:
Active South Carolina pharmacist license (in good standing) Hospital pharmacy experience (previous DOP experience not required) IV compounding experience Ability to take on leadership responsibilities and support staffing in a lean team environment This is an excellent opportunity for a strong hospital pharmacist to step into a leadership role with flexibility and autonomy in a supportive environment.
