Category Pharmacy – Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract Full Time Inpatient Pharmacist – Montgomery, AL Soliant Health is seeking experienced and driven hospital pharmacists for an exciting travel opportunity in Montgomery, Alabama. This is your chance to join a high-acuity, fast-paced environment at a top regional hospital recognized for its excellence in trauma, neonatal, and stroke care. We’re looking for clinical professionals ready to make a real impact while working autonomously and collaboratively within a strong pharmacy team. Schedule Options (7 on / 7 off):

Nights:

9:30 PM – 8:00

AM Evenings:

10:00 AM – 9:00 PM Enjoy a consistent, balanced schedule that allows for extended time off every other week.

Position Overview:

This is an operations-based pharmacist role where you will serve as the primary pharmacist for the hospital during your scheduled shift. Candidates must be confident working independently, managing workflow, triaging tasks efficiently, and collaborating with pharmacy technicians. You’ll also provide remote overnight coverage for a nearby sister facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Independently verify and process medication orders using Cerner EMR Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy technicians to ensure optimal patient care Oversee Omnicell automated dispensing systems and ensure medication accuracy Utilize Sentri 7 for clinical surveillance and IVX for sterile compounding verification Support all patients, including NICU patients Maintain compliance with all regulatory and institutional protocols

Requirements:

Active Alabama Pharmacist License (must be in hand by start date) Minimum 2 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience Strong independent clinical judgment and decision-making ability NICU experience required Proficiency with Cerner, Omnicell, and pharmacy surveillance software Must be a reliable, team-oriented professional with a commitment to quality patient care These opportunities are in high demand and will be filled quickly.
