Category Pharmacy – Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract Join a leading healthcare facility in Montgomery, AL for a 7 on / 7 off hospital pharmacist role. This is a high-impact operations-focused position in a 492-bed flagship hospital featuring a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center.
Position Details:
Two shifts available: •
Nights:
9:30 PM – 8:00 AM •
Evenings:
10:00 AM – 9:00
PM Schedule:
Monday to Sunday, 7 days on / 7 days off Core duties include inpatient order verification, overseeing pharmacy operations, and remote order coverage for a nearby facility overnight No code or ER response responsibilities
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of inpatient hospital pharmacist experience Active Alabama Pharmacist License (must be in hand by start date) Strong clinical and operational judgment Ability to work independently and collaboratively with pharmacy technicians and providers Experience with NICU, sterile compounding, and triaging Proficiency in Cerner, Omnicell, Sentri 7, and IVX systems
