Contract Soliant Health is seeking a highly skilled and motivated pharmacist to join an exceptional healthcare team on Florida’s beautiful Central Coast. Position Overview:
This full-time pharmacist role offers multiple shift options, including variable day/afternoon rotations and a dedicated 7-on/7-off night shift. The position is set to begin ASAP and runs for 13 weeks, with the potential to extend. Candidates seeking a travel or temp-to-hire opportunity will be strongly considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Order verification and medication review in accordance with clinical protocols and patient safety standards Direct supervision of pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance and workflow efficiency Active consultation with physicians and nursing staff regarding drug therapies and patient care plans Monitoring and adjusting dosing for pharmacokinetics (vancomycin, aminoglycosides, etc.) Ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining accurate patient documentation
Requirements:
Active and clear Florida Pharmacist License Recent hospital pharmacy experience required (minimum 1 year strongly preferred) Proven experience with inpatient medication systems and EMR (Epic, Cerner, or similar) Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring Excellent communication and decision-making skills Ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure clinical environments This is your chance to bring your pharmacy expertise to one of the most desirable coastal locations in the country.
