Position Summary:

Assists the Director of Pharmacy in Managing all aspects of pharmaceutical care. The pharmacist supervisor shall assist the Director of Pharmacy in managing all professional and technical aspects of departmental operations. These operations include clinical practice, as well as medication use and delivery systems to ensure safe, progressive, state-of-the-art operations. In conjunction with the operations manager and clinical manager, the pharmacist supervisor is responsible for the management of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. The pharmacist supervisor shall be skilled in assisting in the development of standards of practice for screening of all age, dosage and disease dependent variations (i.e. geriatrics and pediatrics) and for operations of the Department of Pharmacy.
