Summary:
FLORIDA RESIDENTS ONLY
The Pharmacy Escalations Specialist is a pharmacy technician that is responsible for receiving and promptly resolving all patient and provider escalations received at Rx To Go. This role will provide support and resolution to all Help Desk inquiries and complaints received within the pharmacy. This individual will be able to perform the tasks including intake, benefits verification, prior authorization, financial assistance, data entry and delivery coordination. The Pharmacy Escalations Specialist will support all aspects of complaint resolution including the pharmacy help desk and serve as a single point of contact (SPOC) to FCS providers. This role is pivotal to providing de-escalation support to patients and providers.
PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for providing efficient and high-quality service to internal and external customers through promoting a culture of patient-centricity. Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Manages all patient and provider concerns to expedite therapy initiation and onboarding. Assists with organizing all escalations relating to intake, benefits verification, customer service, prior authorization, financial assistance, helpdesk inquiries, refill requests and specialty pharmacy follow-ups. Supports the Pharmacy Helpdesk to ensure all inquiries are responded to in an expeditious manner while exceeding SLA expectations. Identifies internal process improvement opportunities aimed at increasing patient and provider satisfaction. Participates in the SPOC program to continually support FCS providers and promote a cohesive relationship with clinic stakeholders. Manages escalation resolution timeliness to ensure Rx To Go maintains service levels required for ACHC, NABP, NCODA, and URAC accreditations. Collaborates with their immediate supervisor and/or manager and partner closely with other pharmacy and functional departments to ensure synergies and cross-departmental effectiveness. Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures. Follows all federal/state pharmacy/healthcare regulations and maintains necessary records pertaining to the Board of Pharmacy in the state of residence and compliance within the company. FCS. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES
Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician, Required. Certified Pharmacy Technician, Preferred. Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two (2) years pharmacy experience Minimum of two (2) years of Oncology pharmacy experience preferred
