The Regional Support Pharmacist’swork assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues wherethe analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluationof variable factors. The Regional Support Pharmacist will bescheduled in the region to support the Retail PharmaciesTheRegional Support Pharmacist Prepares and maintains all necessary records on prescriptions,patient charges and inventory. Provides information to the patients and members on drugs andpharmaceuticals. Directly interacts with the patients. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issuesregarding technical approach for project components, and work isperformed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives andapproaches to assignments. Administers Immuniztions Use your skills to make an impact
Schedule:
Per Diem as needed, can work typical operation hours8:00am-5pm EST (can work up to 40 hours per week depending onbusiness need)
Required Training Schedule:
2 weeks of training M-F8:30am-5pm EST. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 5 or more years of technical experience 2+ years of Retail Pharmacy experience Must have an active Pharmacist license in in the state ofFlorida Must have Certification on their Florida License to be able toadminister immunizations This role is considered patient facing and is part ofHumana/Senior Bridge’s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. Ifselected for this role, you will be required to be screened forTB. Stand for extended periods Frequently required to walk Frequently reach with hands and arms Frequently bend Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Strong written and oral communication skills Must be willing and able to cover shifts at Pharmacies inOrmond Beach, Orange City and Port OrangePreferred Qualifications PharmD.
