Job Description The Floater Pharmacist appropriately dispenses prescribed drugs, handles incoming physician calls, logs data into the computer, performs Rx workflow processing, and conducts drug utilization reviews. This position will fill in (as needed) at eleven different Avita Pharmacy locations across Los Angeles County. We are looking for a Pharmacist who can work 30 hours/week and sometimes more Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30am and 6:30pm (depending on pharmacy hours). No evening or weekend shifts!

About the

Role:

Properly dispense, order, and maintain proper inventory of drugs and supplies, pursuant to all state and federal laws
Maintain the highest quality of pharmaceutical care and services
Assist with managing pharmacy operations and supervising Pharmacy Technicians/Clerks
Collaborate with physicians to discuss potential incompatibility issues with patient prescriptions
Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of pharmacy
Keep abreast of changing laws, regulations, and new pharmacy-related programs
Consult with clinic providers, administrators, and other personnel as appropriate
Perform other related duties as assigned
Perform in accordance with company policies and standards

About You:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm), Doctoral degree (PharmD.) or equivalent
Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the State of CA
1+ year of full-time retail pharmacist experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal, customer-service, managerial, and communication skills
Able to efficiently work, mentor, and supervise staff in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Pay range:

$63 to $70 per hour, based on credentials and geographic location.
