Full-Time Hospital Pharmacist – Near Princeton Louisiana Soliant Health is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Hospital Pharmacist for a full-time position near Princeton, Louisiana. This exciting opportunity offers a 13-week assignment with an ASAP start, providing you with the chance to make a significant impact in patient care at a well-established 200-bed hospital. If you’re a skilled pharmacist with hospital experience and you’re ready for your next challenge, this position could be the perfect fit for you.
Job Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders for accuracy and safety
Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure efficient pharmacy operations
Consult with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication regimens
Manage and ensure proper use of medications within the hospital setting
Utilize EPIC software for medication order management
Requirements:
Active Louisiana Pharmacist License (required)
Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting (highly preferred)
Proficiency with EPIC software (required)
Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge and expertise in medication therapy management
Ability to work the following shifts: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM, 10:00 AM – 6:40 PM, and some weekend coverage (every other weekend), with flexibility to accommodate 10-hour shifts on weekends (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday)
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
