Job Description
PRN “as needed” Pharmacist
RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Specific Competencies:
Provides accurate, efficient, and appropriate pharmaceutical distribution services to all age groups of patients.
Safely prepares and dispenses medication orders for patients.
Supervises pharmacy technician personnel consistent with organizational policies and procedures.
Acts as a resource for other healthcare professionals.
Proactive and is a visionary who influences, mentors staff.
Ensures commitment to the values of JCMG.
Assures building and facilitating of teams.
Provides appropriate safety and infection control measures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of pharmacy and completion of internship approved by National Board of Pharmacy
Experience:
Minimum 1-year experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
Certification/License:
Licensed as a pharmacist in the state of Missouri in good standing
BLS required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
Ability to use computerized information systems
Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills
Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present effectively
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is normally performed in an interior/office environment. Occasionally work involves driving to locations off of the main campus.
