Contract Summary:

This PIC role is a contract leadership opportunity at a long-term care pharmacy in the greater Kansas City area. You’ll be at the helm of pharmacy operations, overseeing pharmacists and workflows, and ensuring every aspect of the operation runs smoothly while maintaining compliance and care standards.

60 Days with possible extension Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily pharmacy workflow across verification, clarification, and prepack teams Oversee and support pharmacists in dispensing activities, staffing, and scheduling Serve as the central point for internal and external communications Deliver prompt, high-level customer service for all facility and provider inquiries Monitor compliance with DEA, HIPAA, and all regulatory requirements Train pharmacists in accordance with internal SOPs Ensure timely medication deliveries and effective backorder resolution Provide clinical support and decision-making for therapeutic questions Work alongside compliance techs on CII protocols and reporting Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FrameworkLTC system and facility-specific protocols Other administrative and operational duties as needed Ideal Candidate Calm under pressure, solution-focused, and able to make quick decisions Experienced in LTC environments with operational leadership background Strong communicator, team motivator, and workflow optimizer Detail-oriented and adaptable with a high sense of accountability Job Requirements Active Pharmacist License in the State of Missouri (in good standing) Minimum 2-5 years of pharmacy experience in a long-term care or institutional setting Previous PIC or pharmacy leadership experience strongly preferred Proficiency with FrameworkLTC required Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) Available for flexible scheduling including nights/weekends if needed Able to work on-site in Riverside, MO Must be organized, customer-service minded, and operationally savvy Why Join Us?
