Per Diem Inpatient Pharmacist•Asheville, NC Soliant Health is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Inpatient Pharmacist to take on a per diem night shift position in Asheville, NC. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care at a renowned 815-bed acute care facility while enjoying the work-life balance of a 7 on 7 off schedule. Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient setting, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
Review and verify medication orders, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness
Participate in medication therapy management and collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient care
Assist with drug utilization reviews and monitor for potential drug interactions, side effects, and contraindications
Ensure proper medication storage, handling, and dispensing practices
Provide counseling to patients and healthcare professionals as needed
Work efficiently during night shifts to meet the needs of the hospital and its patients
Skills and Experience Required:
Active North Carolina Pharmacy License (Required)
Minimum of 2 years of current inpatient pharmacy experience (Required)
Strong clinical knowledge in inpatient pharmacy practices
Ability to independently manage medication orders and clinical decisions
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with healthcare teams
Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts, 7 pm to 7 am, on a 7 on/7 off rotation
