Overview

Job Summary:

Work as a member of Outpatient Retail Pharmacy team to deliver quality patient care. Activities will include but are not limited to dispensing medications, educating patients, and providing clinical information and expertise to other healthcare professionals. Responsible for operations and customer satisfaction in the pharmacy. Assist in managing the activities of a team of pharmacy technicians. Actively participates in the development and implementation of performance/quality improvement and patient safety activities. Supports Clinical Coordinator inpleting initiatives to meet the goals of the area scorecard for productivity, inventory management and service. How You’ll Impact Patient care:
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Process medication orders and prescriptions from physicians and nurses.
Supervise technicians to ensure timely and accurate medication dispensing, optimizing staff utilization.
Deliver pharmaceutical care for optimal patient oues.
Contribute to quality improvement efforts through teamwork.
Continuously update and document skills and knowledge.
Maintain documentation forpliance with standards and regulations.
Set personal goals to support departmental objectives.
Provide age-appropriate care following guidelines.
Foster a cooperative work environment through effectivemunication and teamwork.

What You Will Need:

Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) is required.
Current state pharmacist license in good standing through North Carolina Board of Pharmacy is required.
Must be a certified immunizing pharmacist. Nice To Have (Not Required):
One to two years retail experience is preferred. Accredited outpatient or ambulatory pharmacy residency experience preferred.
