This 435-bed medical center just west of Charlotte, NC, is actively hiring a skilled and confident night shift pharmacist to join their clinical team. The ideal candidate is ready to thrive in a busy ED setting, take initiative, and deliver exceptional patient-centered care.

7 on / 7 off | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM |

Rotating Weekends Start Date:

ASAP Contract Duration:

13 Weeks (with strong potential for direct hire) Key Responsibilities Manage and verify high volumes of emergency department medication orders accurately and efficiently Collaborate closely with ER physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff to ensure optimal medication therapy Maintain documentation and compliance with hospital policies and state/federal regulations Support the overnight clinical and operational functions of the pharmacy Ideal Candidate Highly driven, dependable, and calm under pressure Exceptional communication skills in a multidisciplinary team setting Eager to take ownership of medication safety and ED workflow continuity overnight Job Requirements Active North Carolina Pharmacist license Minimum 1 year of experience working in an emergency department pharmacy setting (REQUIRED) Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain prior to start) Strong clinical knowledge of emergency meds and protocols Ability to interpret and execute orders swiftly and accurately Additional Information This hospital is a major hub for emergency care with a fast-moving, collaborative environment Onboarding support provided with smooth scheduling transition and team-based orientation This is a unique opportunity to step into a full-time, consistent schedule with long-term potential If you’re a seasoned pharmacist with ED experience who’s ready for a night shift challenge in the Charlotte metro area, this position is for you.
