Position Summary FirstHealth of the Carolinas, Moore Regional Hospital•Hoke Campus, in Raeford, North Carolina is seeking a clinical pharmacist to provide exceptional inpatient care for hospitalized patients. The position is primarily based at the Raeford Campus, with occasional shifts in Pinehurst. This is a 40-hour per week, day-shift position (currently 8-4:30, subject to change with hospital growth) and two weekends per month. The pharmacy department features a contemporary open design and is highly automated utilizing Epic EMR and Omnicell automated dispensing cabinets. The department also enjoys strong after-hours support from the Moore Regional Campus in Pinehurst. Responsibilities Responsibilities include order verification, multi-disciplinary rounds, initiation and follow up of pharmacokinetic monitoring, Bayesian dosing and assisting providers with antibiotic selection and drug information. Thorough knowledge of pharmaceuticals and contemporary pharmacy practice is required. The clinical pharmacist must complete organized activities that are executed via established procedures and techniques within the pharmacy department. Attention to detail is required to ensure proper interpretation of clinical information. Currently licensed by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy
Pharmacists must acquire sufficient continuing education credits to maintain licensure
