Videos Duties The Operional Pharmacy Supervisor supervises the Outpient Pharmacy and is responsible for all activities and functions genered by the outpient Pharmacy section on a day-to-day basis and other specialized services th are provided out of outpient pharmacy service to the various specialty pient care units in this diversified university affilied medical and surgical teaching facility including and not limited to prescription processing and dispensing. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Assist the Office of the Chief, Pharmacy Service, in the management and the supervision of the Outpient Pharmacy Section the Wake County Outpient Clinic. His/her responsibilities continue on an on-call basis during off duty hours. Acts in the absence of the Associe Chief Pharmacy Service or the Chief of Pharmacy as assigned. In addition to the above duties and responsibilities, the supervisory pharmacist will perform, whenever necessary, all the duties normally done by a staff pharmacist. This will include, but is not limited to: prescription processing, filling and/or compounding of prescriptions, pient counseling Other professional duties th are required or assigned.

Licensure:

Individuals must hold a full, current and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in a Ste, Territory, Commonwealth of the United Stes (i.e., Puerto Rico), or the District of Columbia. The pharmacist must maintain current registrion if this is a requirement for maintaining full, current, and unrestricted licensure.
