Key Responsibilities:

Dispense prescription medications accurately and in compliancewith legal and professional standards. Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy, safety, andappropriateness, consulting with healthcare providers whennecessary. Educate patients on the proper use, dosage, and potential sideeffects of medications, promoting adherence to prescribedtreatments. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcareprofessionals to develop, monitor, and optimize medicationtherapy. Maintain patient records and ensure the accurate documentationof medication orders, interactions, and patient responses. Advise patients and healthcare professionals on medicationinteractions, contraindications, and potential adversereactions. Monitor and manage medication inventories, ensuring theavailability of essential medications and compliance withregulatory requirements. Participate in the development and implementation of drugutilization protocols and clinical guidelines. Provide immunizations, health screenings, and other services aspermitted by state regulations. Stay current with developments in pharmacology, medicationsafety, and emerging pharmaceutical technologies. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsgoverning the practice of pharmacy.

Qualifications:

Education:

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) degree from anaccredited pharmacy school.

Licensure:

Current licensure as a Pharmacist from theappropriate state board of pharmacy.

Certification:

Advanced certifications (e.g., BoardCertification in Pharmacotherapy or specialty certifications) maybe preferred, depending on the practice setting.

Experience:
