Key Responsibilities:

Dispense prescription medications accurately and in compliancewith legal and professional standards. Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy, safety, andappropriateness, consulting with healthcare providers whennecessary. Educate patients on the proper use, dosage, and potential sideeffects of medications, promoting adherence to prescribedtreatments. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcareprofessionals to develop, monitor, and optimize medicationtherapy. Maintain patient records and ensure the accurate documentationof medication orders, interactions, and patient responses. Advise patients and healthcare professionals on medicationinteractions, contraindications, and potential adversereactions. Monitor and manage medication inventories, ensuring theavailability of essential medications and compliance withregulatory requirements. Participate in the development and implementation of drugutilization protocols and clinical guidelines. Provide immunizations, health screenings, and other services aspermitted by state regulations. Qualifications:
Education:

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

Licensure:

Certification:

Advanced certifications (e.g., BoardCertification in Pharmacotherapy or specialty certifications) maybe preferred, depending on the practice setting.
