Day and Evening Rotations, including some weekend and holiday coverage Pharmacist Job Opportunity in Outpatient Hospital Setting•New Jersey A leading hospital system in New Jersey is actively hiring a licensed outpatient pharmacist for a full-time position in a busy ambulatory care / outpatient pharmacy setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinical pharmacist or retail pharmacist looking to transition into a hospital environment . Job Description / Responsibilities Dispense prescriptions accurately and safely according to New Jersey Board of Pharmacy and federal guidelines Deliver effective patient counseling on prescription medications, over-the-counter products, drug interactions, and side effects Collaborate with physicians, nurses , and other healthcare team members to improve medication therapy outcomes Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians , ensuring safe medication dispensing and workflow efficiency Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EMR and pharmacy information systems Assist with inventory control , drug procurement, and compliance auditing Uphold all hospital pharmacy policies , including controlled substance handling, storage, and record-keeping Pharmacist Qualifications PharmD or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy school New Jersey Pharmacist License (active and in good standing) At least 1 year of outpatient, retail, or hospital pharmacy experience preferred Working knowledge of EPIC , drug interaction software , and pharmacy automation systems Excellent communication , clinical decision-making , and customer service skills Apply or Inquire Today!
