20 looking for a highly motivated ClinicalPharmacist to join our team. The pharmacy department servicespatients of all ages to ensure safe and effective use ofmedications. Our Pharmacists ensure that patient care is maintainedthrough compliance with department’s policies, rules andregulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy, and otherapplicable regulatory bodies such as Centers for Medicare andMedicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission.

Shift:

Rotating8hr Shifts (days, evenings, occasional nights). Rotating weekendsrequired. Participates in interdisciplinary patient care rounds,collaborating with doctors, nurses, and other healthcareprofessionals, to help maximize patient outcomes. Comparespatients’ medication history obtained against inpatient orders toensure accuracy. Ensures medication regimens are appropriate andfollows hospital established policies and evidence-basedguidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, antimicrobial useguidelines, renal dosing, and serum drug concentration protocols.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from anaccredited pharmacy school. Valid state license to practice as apharmacist in New York. 1 to 2 years hospital experience preferred,not required,
