Staff Pharmacist Healthy Corner Pharmacy 11665 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. The Staff Pharmacist will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities Review and interpret physician orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy. Dispense medications accurately while adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines. Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions to promote safe medication practices. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop individualized medication plans for patients in acute care settings. Monitor patient progress and adjust medication regimens as necessary based on clinical assessments. Maintain accurate records in pharmacy software systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Supervise pharmacy technicians in their daily tasks, providing training and guidance as needed. Participate in continuous education programs to stay current with advancements in pharmacotherapy and industry standards. Experience Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) degree from an accredited institution is required. Active pharmacist license in the state of practice. Previous experience in a hospital or acute care pharmacy setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, pharmacology, and pain management principles is essential. Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and HIPAA regulations is required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
