The Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is hiring a flex, full time Pharmacist who will play a vital role in delivering top-tier pharmacotherapy within a dynamic and collaborative healthcare environment.
What You’ll Do:
Interpret and verify prescriptions to ensure accurate, safe medication use Provide expert support across centralized and decentralized systems Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize therapies Educate patients and healthcare providers on proper medication use Mentor pharmacy students and residents as a preceptor Lead or support quality initiatives that improve medication safety and compliance
Qualifications:
Graduate of an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy
B.S in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
Current licensure as a Pharmacist in practicing state
No previous experience required; pharmacist experience preferred.
