Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract A well-established specialty pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to join their team in Garnet Valley, PA. This is a direct hire leadership opportunity supporting home infusion and specialty pharmacy services.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 7:00
PM Start:
ASAP Key Responsibilities:
Serve as Pharmacist in Charge and ensure full compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations Provide direct oversight of pharmacy operations including prescription processing, clinical assessments, and drug utilization review Lead, train, and manage pharmacy staff while maintaining high-quality patient care and operational excellence Support inventory management, product procurement, and sterile/non-sterile compounding (as applicable) Conduct clinical evaluations, patient counseling, therapy monitoring, and collaborate with healthcare providers Participate in on-call rotation and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License required Minimum 1 year of experience in outpatient, retail, infusion, or specialty pharmacy required Minimum 3 years of pharmacy management or supervisory experience required Strong working knowledge of pharmacy compliance, clinical assessments, and operational leadership Familiarity with CareTend (CPR+ upgrade) preferred This is an excellent opportunity to lead a high-performing infusion pharmacy team while delivering exceptional patient care. or reach out for further inquiry: 281-848-7415
