Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Vanderbilt HealthITPharmacy Portfolio and in collaboration with the leadership & staffof Vanderbilt Pharmaceutical Services, the residency is designed toequip the resident with the necessary tools and experiences toachieve a position in pharmacy informatics upon completion of theprogram. The resident will have a variety of project opportunities,so the program may be tailored to the resident’s interests andcurrent needs of Vanderbilt HealthIT and Vanderbilt PharmaceuticalServices. The resident will also have responsibilities which areconsistent with guidelines from ASHP. Other related activities mayinclude but not limited to case presentations, teachingcertificate, research project, conferences, and a pharmacy staffingcomponent.
