Category Pharmacy – Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Pharmacist for a home infusion pharmacy located in Nashville, TN. This is a contract opportunity starting in late June or by July 1st, ideal for pharmacists with home infusion or clinical backgrounds looking to join a reputable nationwide infusion provider.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Rotates to 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM shift when on-call

Home infusion (facility and home-based infusion services)
Key Responsibilities:
Review and approve prescriptions prepared by pharmacy technicians in accordance with state regulations Perform final verification on filled prescriptions to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery Conduct clinical medication assessments using patient-specific medical data Collaborate with pharmacy leadership to ensure compliance with federal/state laws and company policies, particularly regarding controlled substances Support quality assurance and cost containment initiatives related to drug procurement and dispensing Respond to clinical questions from internal staff (technicians, nurses) and external providers Assess laboratory results and therapeutic drug ranges to ensure optimal patient outcomes Provide leadership support in the absence of the Pharmacist in Charge Participate in the on-call rotation as needed Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and protect patient confidentiality
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy Active pharmacist license in the state of Tennessee (or willingness to obtain) Prior home infusion or clinical pharmacy experience preferred Strong communication and multitasking skills Proficient computer and documentation abilities Ability to work effectively as part of a clinical and operational team This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team in a growing specialty setting.
