Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the pharmacist in preparing prescriptions, managing inventory, and providing outstanding service to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately and efficiently fill and label prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist Assist in maintaining patient profiles and processing insurance claims Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and care Maintain accurate inventory records and restock medications and supplies Comply with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean, organized, and safe
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred (or ability to become certified within [state-defined] timeframe) Prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting is a plus Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with pharmacy software and technology Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
