A reputable health system is actively seeking a HospitalDirector of Pharmacy to join their Texas team. -Come work for alarge, non-profit health system known for their acute carehospitals, outpatient services, speciality programs, clinicaltrials, ongoing research, academic affiliations, world-classspecialists, and exceptional patient care. The Hospital Director ofPharmacy join the Texas market. The Hospital Director of Pharmacy will overseeall inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services, reporting to theMarket VP of Operations.
Responsibilities of the Hospital Directorof Pharmacy include -managing medication safety, quality assurance,hospital compliance, and overall daily operations. The HospitalPharmacy Director is also responsible for growing the departmentthrough hiring, developing short term and long term initiatives,maintaining quality metrics, and ensuring regulatory compliance,and enforcing policy procedures. -Ideally, the Hospital PharmacyDirector will have hospital pharmacy leadership experienceoverseeing inpatient hospital pharmacy services, experiencepreparing all survey and accreditation material, prior JointCommission experience, and experience managing large departmentbudgets. Additionally, this individual must hold their Doctor ofPharmacy Degree (Pharm.
D.) or equivalent.
