2489 Position Summary This position develops and ensures the smooth execution of daily operation for the pharmacy team. The individual promotes and identifies strategies to provide effective, efficient, and timely patient care. Provides oversight and support for the daily operations of the pharmacy including, but not limited to supply chain management, pharmacy management systems, patient support through timeliness to prescription fulfillment, patient experience, and support of billing practices. Essential Duties & Functions

  • Contribute to strategic and financial planning for pharmacy operations.
  • Develop and support a vision for building dedicated teams and patient relationships.
  • Establish performance and quality improvement criteria and conduct routine evaluations of pharmacy performance and team member contributions.
  • Develop and implement training programs (onboarding and ongoing) to enhance team skills and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Provide professional coaching and guidance to team members to optimize their performance and enhance patient experiences.
  • Foster a collaborative and engaging work environment that promotes teamwork and communication across the organization.
  • Evaluate and optimize workflows to ensure efficiency, timeliness, and consistency in all pharmacy areas.
  • Design and recommend improvements to workflows and operational processes.
  • Implement strategies to enhance patient experience, improve medication adherence, and achieve key pharmacy goals.
  • Establish and implement methods to ensure quality outcomes and patient safety.
  • Monitor compliance with all applicable regulations (HIPAA, TFHC policies, state, and federal laws).
  • Manage and resolve patient complaints effectively, identifying and implementing solutions to prevent future issues
  • Manages Paid Time off, Timecards, attendance and staffing for Pharmacy Managers
  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate performance data to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and drive accountability.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to information systems and technology used to capture and utilize performance data.
  • Efficiently and effectively complete all assigned duties.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Support the Mission, Vision, and Values of Tampa Family Health Centers (TFHC)
  • Strict adherence to all HIPAA, TFHC, accreditation agency, State and Federal rules and regulations Required Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Training
  • Post-graduate degree; PharmD
  • Florida Pharmacist license in good standing
  • BLS certification
  • MBA, MHA, MPH, residency in Pharmacy Administration preferred or equivalent experience. Required Years of Experience
  • 5-8 years of healthcare Pharmacy Leadership experience or Ambulatory/Pharmacy Administration residency Required Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities
  • Ability to navigate and enter data into an electronic health record.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work with people from a wide variety of social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, symbols, phrases, and abbreviations; ability to accurately and efficiently complete basic pharmaceutical math calculations
