The Doctor of Pharmacy-preparedcandidate will play an integral role as a liaison, bridging the gapbetween Pharmacists, Hospital Staff, and Physicians. Working collaboratively with the Director of Inpatient PharmacyServices, the Clinical Pharmacy Manager will become responsible foroversight and management of hospital-facing pharmacy services,including processing medications prescribed by physicians, advisingand assisting hospital and pharmacy staff on drug compatibility,attending and assisting in hospital codes, implementing policiesand procedures, as well as ensuring safe and accuratepharmacotherapy for all hospital patients. The team at this 250+ bed hospital is seeking a strong inpatientpharmacist with a solid pharmacy residency background. The ClinicalPharmacy Manager will be a multitasker, working alongside a strongpharmacy services team while also ensuring appropriate timekeepingand scheduling of medications. Requirements for this role willinclude a Bachelor’s Degree, PharmD Degree, and hospital-based,inpatient pharmacy experience. Pharmacy Residency experience wouldbe absolutely ideal in order to ensure the success of the ClinicalPharmacy Manager.
