Category Pharmacy-Director of Pharmacy Job Type Contract A behavioral health hospital system in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Director of Pharmacy to lead operations across three campuses, including serving as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) . This is an interim opportunity starting ASAP , with the potential for long-term placement.
Location:
Raleigh, NC (Multiple Campuses)
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM + On-call every 3rd week
Start:
Immediate (HSD last day June 6; TJC onsite June 9)
Setting:
Behavioral Health Inpatient Average Daily Census:
Scheduled reopening with 12 beds on 6/15/25
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee pharmacy operations across three behavioral health campuses Perform staffing, scheduling, DEA MOA monthly narcotics counting, and regulatory preparation Serve as the PIC for all locations Participate in weekly meetings with CPS SVP and support system-level pharmacy goals Support upcoming TJC survey readiness and compliance
Requirements:
Active North Carolina Pharmacist License required Behavioral health, inpatient, and pharmacy management experience required Experience with HCS and Omnicell preferred (training provided)

6 Pharmacists and 4 Pharmacy Technicians across 3 sites Last TJC survey in 2022 (no findings); next survey expected imminently Weekend coverage handled by PRN pharmacists
