Full Job Description Job Description:
In charge of ordering OOS items in the pharmacy Coordinating with team members to determine which items are needed to be ordered that we are running low on. Receiving deliveries in ABC and placing on the shelves in the pharmacy. Cycle counting medications as well as looking for items that are expired/will be expiring in a 2×2 window. Completing all drug recalls that are sent from corporate and returning drugs that are applicable.
Certification/License:
NC BOP technician license (does not have to be board certified but it is always a plus)-Preferred.
Experience/Skills required:
-Moderate to Advanced Pharmacy Technician experience (preferably retail: CVS, Walgreens, etc.) -Purchasing experience (medications and office supplies), Experience ordering and putting away orders.
Preferred Skills:
Ability to order on ABC, Amazon, Staples, McKesson, etc. while keeping our monthly budget in mind. Communicate effectively with the entire pharmacy staff Able to look up availability and pricing of drugs/supplies Able to order alternatives if certain items are unavailable.
