Job Description:

Position Summary Oversees the development, execution, and supervision of all protocols and personnel involved in the safe compounding, handling, and storage of pharmaceutical preparations. Ensures strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, including those set forth by the Board of Pharmacy, the U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP), and applicable accreditation or certification entities. Maintains comprehensive quality assurance and regulatory compliance programs in accordance with USP Chapters , , and .

Minimum Requirements Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) from an accredited school of pharmacy is required Advanced business degree and/or completion of an ASHP-accredited residency program preferred

Licensure:

Current pharmacist license in good standing with the

South Carolina Board of Pharmacy Experience:

3+ years of pharmacy management experience preferred 3-4 years of experience in a compounding pharmacy environment Prior exposure to 503B outsourcing facility operations preferred Working knowledge of USP , , and is essential
