ASAP Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Infusion Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IV compounding, knowledge of aseptic techniques, and experience working in an infusion center or inpatient IV setting.

Responsibilities:

Prepare sterile IV medications following

USP 797 & 800

guidelines. Utilize CPR+ software for processing orders and managing inventory. Maintain aseptic technique while compounding sterile preparations. Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations. Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely medication preparation. Maintain and clean sterile compounding areas per regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Alabama Pharmacy Technician License (Required). PTCB Certification (Highly Preferred). At least 1 year of experience in an infusion center (or inpatient IV experience). Proficiency in CPR+ software (Required). Strong knowledge of IV compounding and aseptic technique.
