In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting patient care by assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications. Your expertise in medical terminology and aseptic techniques will be essential in providing high-quality service to our patients. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and educating patients about their medications. Utilize aseptic techniques when compounding sterile products. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in critical care and acute care settings to optimize medication administration. Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical supplies. Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, policies, and procedures. Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices. Experience Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a related healthcare role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations is advantageous. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to medication administration. Experience with patient care practices, particularly in critical care or acute care environments, is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
