Duties Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including IV infusions and other acute care treatments. Ensure accurate medication administration by verifying prescriptions and checking for potential drug interactions. Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring that the pharmacy is well-stocked at all times. Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications and health-related inquiries. Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals and patients. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure compliance with pharmacy standards. Document medication administration and maintain accurate records for patient safety. Skills Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, including acute care environments and IV infusion processes. Excellent patient service skills, with a focus on providing compassionate care to patients. Familiarity with medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care.
