- A caregiver in this position works days Wednesday
- Saturday 11am
- 9:30pm / Sunday to Tuesday 11am
- 11:30pm
+ Deliver medications to the appropriate storage locations in an accurate and timely manner. + Maintain accurate and appropriate inventories of medications and supplies and complete inventory audits, such as cycle counts and nursing unit inspections. + Maintain a safe and clean work area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations, and document regulatory requirements such as temperature logs, scheduled activities and training. + Use information systems, technology and automation to complete assigned tasks. + Assist with the training of pharmacy caregivers and students. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + High School Diploma/GED + Licensed in Florida as a Registered Pharmacy Technician + Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) within 18 months of hire + Ability to perform algebraic calculations necessary for the preparation of extemporaneous compounds + Basic computer skills Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician Training Program + Six months of hospital experience Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
