The Pharmacy Technician II performs duties to ensure the quality of products and proper functioning of equipment while working within the limitations of standard methods and procedures. May participate in preparation and dispensing of sterile products under direct pharmacist supervision, if allowed by the Board of Pharmacy.
Requirements include:
High School Diploma or equivalent; 1+ years’ experience in medical environment preferred; Certified pharmacy technician preferred; Achieves and maintains appropriate licensure/certification as required by Board of Pharmacy; Must complete CE or retraining as required by Board of Pharmacy; Basic math skills, including decimals and fractions, where interpretation is required; Strong organizational skills along with effective time management skills; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Customer focused; team oriented; Light, occasional physical effort required to move, lift and deliver containers and boxes up to 50 lbs. Ability to operate vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license.
