Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a week-to-week contract opportunity in Tampa, Florida . This is a great role for someone confident in cleanroom protocol and aseptic technique who is ready to support a busy compounding pharmacy team.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM Responsibilities include: Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of compounded medications Perform sterile compounding, including accurate mixing and labeling of pharmaceutical products Disinfect hoods, clean equipment, and sterilize glassware using appropriate techniques Manage incoming pharmaceutical supplies and maintain organized storage Follow strict guidelines to ensure the protection of patient information in compliance with HIPAA Participate in training, orientation, and competency evaluations as assigned
Requirements:
Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license At least 1 year of recent experience in sterile compounding Strong attention to detail and knowledge of aseptic technique and cleanroom procedures Ability to work independently and maintain high safety and quality standards This is a fantastic opportunity for a technician with proven sterile compounding experience to contribute immediately in a regulated and professional setting.
