TBD About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and licensed LTC Pharmacy Entry Technician to join our growing team at a leading long-term care pharmacy. This role is essential in ensuring that prescription data is entered accurately and efficiently into the pharmacy system, helping patients in long-term care facilities receive their medications safely and on time. This is not your typical retail pharmacy job. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, high-volume LTC environment , where precision, speed, and strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology are critical. If you are passionate about accuracy, understand the language of prescriptions, and have experience in LTC settings—this is the role for you. Key Responsibilities Enter new and refill prescriptions with complete accuracy into the pharmacy operating system Verify prescription details, dosage calculations, SIG codes, and NDCs for proper processing Triage and manage incoming faxed prescriptions Communicate professionally with facilities and healthcare providers regarding prescription inquiries Follow up on medication refill requests and cycle fills Assist with prescription packaging, inventory updates, and documentation compliance Support pharmacy operations with data integrity and regulatory adherence Uphold HIPAA and pharmacy safety standards in all processes Requirements Minimum 2 years of data entry experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy environment Active Pharmacy Technician license/registration in the state of Florida (Required) National Certification (PTCB) is preferred Strong understanding of pharmaceutical terminology and prescription language (SIG codes, DEA schedules, etc.) High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with pharmacy software such as FrameworkLTC, DocuTrack, QS/1, or similar Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed Excellent communication and organizational skills Hiring Process Selected candidates will complete: A virtual Basic Quest test An in-person written exam on prescription terminology and data entry accuracy Background check and drug screening Why Join Us Work with a mission-driven team that supports vulnerable patients in LTC facilities Be part of a collaborative, fast-moving environment where accuracy truly matters Competitive hourly pay, evening shift differentials, and long-term career growth opportunities ttg Talent Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer and recruiting agency.
