Pharmacy Data Entry Technician Wells Pharmacy Network Wellington, FL 33414
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Pharmacy Data Entry Technician will primarily be focused on communicating with our physician practices and customers. You will be processing prescriptions and payments for orders in a timely and effective manner before sending them to the pharmacist (PV1) for revision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key orders in a timely and accurate manner. Accurately gather and review customer’s billing/shipping information before an order is keyed. Responsible for contacting physician offices and patients to review and update their profile. Promptly responds to all customer inquiries and re-directs to applicable departments as needed. Promptly handle and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner. Urgently communicate with customers when orders have been delayed, cancelled or interrupted. Communicate payment requirements. Maintains compliance with company and HIPAA patient confidentiality requirements. Perform other related duties as directed.
REQUIREMENTS
Expected to meet minimum quota and productivity requirements. Expected to follow all policies and procedures as set forth by the company and supervisor. Manage time effectively. Maintains a professional appearance at all times. Current Pharmacy Technician License required.
EDUCATION
High School diploma or equivalent
COMPUTER SKILLS
Microsoft Office Suite, Pharmacy Software – CarePoint a Plus!
