Contract Length:
13 Weeks Key Responsibilities Process prescriptions and insurance claims, resolving denials and rejections Package, label, and prepare medications for pharmacist verification and shipment Perform data entry and manage documentation for prescription orders Communicate effectively with patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals Monitor and maintain inventory, including cycle counts and expiration reviews Assist in medication returns, quarantines, and destruction processes Ensure all processes comply with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and payer guidelines Support multiple pharmacy functions and departments as needed Ideal Candidate Reliable, adaptable, and thrives in high-volume environments Professional communicator with a strong sense of urgency Works well in a team and contributes to a positive, collaborative atmosphere Comfortable with multitasking and navigating insurance-related workflows Familiarity with call center processes or previous remote customer service work is a plus Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED (required) PTCB certification Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License in good standing Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician experience Strong organizational and multitasking skills This is your chance to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives while expanding your expertise in a structured and highly respected pharmacy setting.
