Responsibilities Include:
Accurately process and fill prescription orders under pharmacist supervision. Manage insurance adjudication processes and resolve claim rejections efficiently. Package, label, and prepare medications for pharmacist verification and shipment. Conduct precise data entry and manage documentation for prescriptions. Communicate with patients and prescribers regarding orders and clarification needs. Maintain organized inventory through cycle counts, restocking, and expiration tracking. Support the return, quarantine, and disposal of medications as required. Uphold pharmacy compliance standards including HIPAA and Medicare/Medicaid regulations.
Qualifications:
Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License required. National PTCB Certification required. Minimum of 2 years of recent pharmacy technician experience in a retail, mail order, or fulfillment environment. Prior experience with call center functions and insurance processes is strongly preferred. Must possess excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and comfort working within a team-driven, high-volume operation.
