Contract We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team for a 13-week contract position in Clearwater, FL. This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-paced environment while supporting the dispensing of medications, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Monday – Friday (9:00 AM to 5:30 PM)

Start Date:

ASAP (1.5-2 weeks after offer)

Key Responsibilities:

Process prescriptions, handle insurance adjudications, and resolve rejections Prepare, package, and label medications for pharmacist verification Perform data entry, manage prescription paperwork, and communicate with patients and prescribers Maintain accurate inventory through daily cycle counts, restocking, and expiration reviews Assist with returns, medication quarantines, and destruction processes Cross-train in various pharmacy functions and support department needs as required Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and insurance regulations

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED required PTCB certification and FL pharmacy tech license in good standing 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience (call center background preferred) Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with patients, providers, and internal teams If you’re ready to apply your skills in a dynamic environment and make a difference in patient care, apply today!
