We seek aPart Time Float Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of theGenoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily throughdispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clericalduties while under the direct supervision of a registeredpharmacist.
Pharmacy Hours:
Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Schedule:
Will be working three 8-hour shifts depending on business needs
Location:
151 North Main Street, Room 332, Decatur, IL, 62523 (homesite)
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customerservice to all consumers and members of the clinic staff Fillsprescription orders and makes them available for verification underdirect supervision of the registered pharmacist Orders, receivesand stores incoming pharmacy supplies Receives and processeswholesaler medication orders Verifies medication stock and entersdata in computer to maintain inventory records Works with thePharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping thepharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirementsPerforms various clerical duties relating to the departmentCommunicates with strong professional verbal and writtencommunication skills Other duties as assigned Ability to coverDecatur, Lawrenceville, Bloomington, Galesburg, and both Peoria(two sites) You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performancein an environment that will challenge you and give you cleardirection on what it takes to succeed in your role as well asprovide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted PharmacyTechnician license in the state of Illinois 6 months of PharmacyTechnician experience Access to reliable transportation
PreferredQualifications:
National Pharmacy Technician CertificationBilingual in English and Spanish The salary range for this role is$ 16.00 to $ 28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay isbased on several factors including but not limited to local labormarkets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
