Pharmacy Technician Rocky Face Pharmacy 2600 Old Chattanooga Rd, Rocky Face, GA 30740 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations within a hospital setting, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. This position involves working closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals in an independent pharmacy setting. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies, ensuring proper storage conditions. Provide patient care by answering questions regarding medications and health concerns. Conduct regular checks on medication expiration dates and manage returns as necessary. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmacy practices. Provide excellent customer service and patient care. Proficiency in patient service, demonstrating excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare teams. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
