Pharmacy Specialist The Pharmacy Specialist assists customers with remote processing of orders through the Pharmacy channel. This position coordinates order processing with Pharmacist(s) and Pharmacy Tech(s) in accordance with normal order process. This position does not perform Pharmacy Technician duties unless licensed.
Job Duties:
Confer with customers by telephone, email, or SMS messaging to provide information about products or services, cancel accounts, or upgrade accounts. Assist with processing of pharmacy sales orders, process payments, refunds, or exchanges. Inform customers of deals and promotions, answer questions about warranties and terms of sale. Sell products and services and solicit sales of new or additional products or services. Call insurances to obtain patient PBM coverage information Accurate data entry into system Document collection and storage Contact doctor offices to collect and request prescriptions, authorizations, clinical notes, and lab results. Run pharmacy test claims and communicate copays to the patient Answer phones and provide customer service. Keep workspace and common pharmacy areas clean. Maintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAA Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
